In the satirical comedy "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," Dewey Cox (John C. Reilly) embarks on a journey to become a rock legend, facing numerous challenges and obstacles along the way. After his father's brutal murder, Dewey is left orphaned and with a deep sense of loss. He finds solace in music, which becomes his escape from the hardships of life. As Dewey grows older, he becomes obsessed with becoming a musician, inspired by the greats like Elvis Presley (Craig Robinson) and Buddy Holly (Tim Meadows). He faces rejection and ridicule at every turn, but refuses to give up. Dewey's big break comes when he writes a hit song, "Walk Hard," which catapults him to fame.
